Catherine and Sharon became interested in early detection of skin cancer after successfully spotting changes to many clients skin and moles.
Our Dermoscopy offering
Catherine and Sharon have achieved a certificate in Dermoscopy and are able to examine skin lesions and moles you may be concerned about using a medical grade dermoscope. They have undertaken courses in early detection and in Dermoscopy which allows a magnified view of a lesion to spot any signs that may require a more detailed examination by a dermatologist. This gives them more confidence in spotting anything that may need medical attention.
We are proud to have partnered with ‘Map My Mole’
This service enables us to submit dermoscopy photos to a
Consultant Dermatologist for a comprehensive digital review,
usually within 48 hrs of submitting report.
